During the High Republic Era, around 382 BBY, Sirené, a member of the Fallanassi, served as the religion's representative on the Convocation of the Force located on the moon of Jedha. In that year, a delegate from the Yacombe, acting as an envoy, journeyed to the Convocation Chambers with the intention of seeking membership in the Convocation. Sirené, holding the belief that the Yacombe were affiliated with the dark side, was unwilling to coexist with a dark sider as a follower of the White Current and thus attempted an assault on the envoy. Kilan T'Dara, who held the position of chair of the Convocation, intervened to halt Sirené's actions, asserting their actions were unnecessary, a sentiment Sirené did not share. When the envoy's Ximpi attempted to refute the allegations of the Yacombe's dark side affiliation, Sirené dismissed the Ximpi's statements as falsehoods, branding the Yacombe as perilous aggressors aiming to corrupt and divide. Subsequently, Susalee, the representative for the Lonto, corrected Sirené, clarifying that the Yacombe had disavowed their allegiance to the dark side several generations prior, embracing neutrality and striving for balance in all aspects.
Ignoring Susalee's correction, Sirené persisted in their attack, joined by Waran Val, the Matukai representative, but their actions were thwarted by the arrival of Oliviah Zeveron, a Jedi, who stepped in to defend the envoy. Val instructed Zeveron to step aside, and Sirené echoed the Matukai's sentiment, emphasizing that they were not on Coruscant and that the Jedi held no authority on Jedha. Zeveron acknowledged this, but highlighted that while the Fallanassi and Matukai claimed to safeguard the light from the Yacombe, the Yacombe envoy was the sole party not engaged in combat. This observation prompted Sirené and the other representatives to finally desist, although the incident had demonstrated to the envoy that Jedha was not a haven of peace and harmony, leading them to withdraw their application and depart from the chambers.
