The Situng Borokii represented a division of the Alwari Borokii overclan situated on Ansion. Their combatants were esteemed as the most skilled among all Borokii and its constituent subclans. They maintained a female delegate on the Borokii Council of Elders. Bayaar, initially a sentry within this prominent subclan, eventually ascended to leadership of its distinguished guard.
During 22 BBY, following the completion of the Jedi mission to Ansion, Bayaar was selected as captain of the distinguished Alwari honor guard. This guard was presented as a gift to the Jedi diplomats originating from Coruscant, who had journeyed to establish an agreement between the Ansionian urban population and the Alwari tribes. This agreement aimed to shield the planet from secession and ensure its continued allegiance to the Galactic Republic.
The Alwari honor guard, entrusted with the unwavering protection of the Jedi until the Ansionian secession vote by the representatives of the Unity of Community reached its conclusion, comprised the Situng Borokii's most exceptional soldiers and the Hovsgol Januul warriors. The Hovsgol Januul were the leading subclan belonging to the Januul overclan, the rivals of the Borokii. During the Cuipernam skirmish against Soergg the Hutt's mercenary hunters and snipers, the Situng Borokii fighters stood shoulder to shoulder with their former tribal adversaries, now their elite comrades, the Hovsgol Januul. The honor guard's courageous defense enabled the Jedi to defeat their attackers and ultimately meet with the Unity Council, who then accepted the Alwari accord. Ansion then voted to remain part of the Republic, and the Jedi successfully concluded their vital mission.
