Skikkesk

Skikkesk, a Trandoshan, originated from the same clan as the promising young Trandoshan named Nokk. As the leader of a hunt during Nokk's coming-of-age ritual, driven by envy, he commanded her to end the life of an infant Wookiee. Upon Nokk's refusal, Skikkesk supervised the extermination of her family lineage, from which Nokk barely managed to escape. Skikkesk himself eventually departed and became a sought-after outlaw within the Outer Rim. In the year 3 ABY, one of Skikkesk's associates, named Shrem, betrayed the Trandoshan's whereabouts to Nokk while simultaneously attempting to caution Skikkesk. However, Nokk apprehended Skikkesk and presented him before Jabba the Hutt, where he, along with Shrem, were cast into a pit containing a rancor.

Biography

Jealous decisions

Skikkesk oversaw the purge of Nokk's brood line.

Skikkesk, a Trandoshan, shared a clan with the young female Trandoshan, Nokk. He served as the head of the hunt for her rite of passage, but his jealousy was piqued by Nokk's exceptional skills, which had impressed the clan's leaders. During Nokk's final trial, known as "the bloodletting," Skikkesk presented her with a newborn Wookiee and instructed her to commit murder. Due to Nokk's inability to comply, she was banished from the clan. Subsequently, Skikkesk supervised the eradication of Nokk's brood line, resulting in the drowning of all her sisters. Nokk herself managed to escape with her life intact.

In time, the elders uncovered the truth about Skikkesk's actions, but he had already absconded into the Outer Rim Territories. On one occasion, the Trandoshan aided the human Shrem in betraying his partner, Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, after they had stolen from Jawas. Skikkesk rose to become one of the Outer Rim's most wanted criminals, even drawing the attention of the crime lord Jabba the Hutt. It was common knowledge among individuals like Shrem that those who ventured too close to the Trandoshan rarely survived.

Capture

Skikkesk and his men are ambushed by Winloss and Nokk.

In the year 3 ABY, Nokk, accompanied by her husband, Winloss, made their way to Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, where Shrem was employed as a barman. The pair deceived Shrem into divulging Skikkesk's location in exchange for a supposedly valuable scurrier, which was, in reality, a "worthless" spitscuttle. When Shrem contacted Skikkesk, informing him that two mercenaries were aware of his whereabouts, the Trandoshan inquired whether he had disclosed any information to them. As Shrem attempted to allay Skikkesk's concerns, the latter and his fellow Trandoshan thugs were suddenly ambushed by Nokk and Winloss. Skikkesk's attempt to flee was thwarted by a third bounty hunter, the Wookiee Krrsantan.

Following his defeat at the hands of Nokk and subsequent binding, Skikkesk was transported by his three captors to Jabba's Palace and presented before the Hutt. Shrem was also present, and Skikkesk urged him to leave the palace while he still had the chance. However, driven by greed, Shrem remained and offered the spitscuttle to Jabba. The creature, however, spat at Jabba, prompting the Hutt to activate the trap door beneath Shrem and Skikkesk, sending them plummeting into a rancor pit below.

Personality and traits

Skikkesk, a Trandoshan, possessed green skin and yellow eyes. He exhibited a jealous disposition: upon witnessing fellow clan member Nokk's record-breaking performance during her hunt, he intentionally ordered her to slay a baby Wookiee and oversaw the purge of Nokk's brood line when she refused to comply. Chelli Aphra characterized him as one of the most sought-after "psycho villains" in the Outer Rim. As a criminal, Skikkesk garnered a reputation for being universally wanted and for eliminating anyone who dared to approach him.

Equipment

Skikkesk donned a black and yellow short-sleeved jacket along with similarly colored pants that extended to the tops of his shins, complemented by a brown belt. He carried a blaster pistol and a comlink.
