The skirmishes on Dxun consisted of a series of minor battles that occurred on the Dxun moon. After Onderonian vessels compelled their ship to make an emergency landing, Meetra Surik and her comrades found themselves stranded on the moon. They then formed an alliance with Canderous Ordo (who now held the title of Mandalore the Preserver) and his Mandalorian clan, assisting them in repelling scouts dispatched by Colonel Tobin to locate the Exile.
Additionally, the Exile was compelled to confront and defeat assassins who had been dispatched to eliminate her, encountering them outside the Mandalorian camp. As the team prepared to depart for Onderon, they were unexpectedly attacked by Sith assassins who had infiltrated the camp with the intention of ambushing them before Surik and her companions could embark for Iziz.
Meetra Surik, the exiled Jedi, along with her allies, journeyed to Onderon with the objective of locating Jedi Master Kavar who was situated in Iziz. However, the blockade surrounding the planet presented a challenge, leading Colonel Tobin to deploy his ships to assault their ship, forcing them to crash on the Dxun moon to evade being destroyed. Surik and her allies then ventured out to explore the moon, still determined to reach Onderon and complete their mission.
However, the bounty placed on Surik's head by the Exchange (as well as other Jedi who survived the purge) remained active, leaving her susceptible to attacks by assassins seeking to find her. This included Duros hunters under the command of Dezanti Zhug, who had also traveled to Onderon to find her; their vessel was also targeted and forced to crash-land on the surface.

While Atton Rand began repairing the ship, Surik and her companions made the decision to leave the ship and explore the moon. In a jungle clearing, the Exile and her allies encountered Dezanti Zhug and his two Duros companions, whose ship had also crashed. Unable to reach a peaceful resolution, Surik and her group were compelled to engage and eliminate Zhug and his allies in the ensuing conflict.

The Exile encountered several Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, who escorted them to their leader, Mandalore the Preserver. The two parties formed a provisional alliance, with Mandalore promising to transport Surik to Onderon in exchange for her assistance with several tasks that would test her abilities for the Mandalorian clan. As Surik left the camp, she encountered the scout Kelborn, who had just discovered the body of a dead Onderonian scout.
Kelborn explained that he had tracked two ships that had landed on the moon, noting that the Onderonian scouts had remained silent, while the Duros ship's signature had been transmitting throughout its descent. Kelborn emphasized that the scouts had to be killed to maintain the secrecy of the Mandalorian camp, preventing the Onderonians from launching an attack on the base. Surik agreed to assist Kelborn and encountered two units further along the jungle paths. Surik learned that Colonel Tobin had dispatched the scouts to hunt her down, while Kelborn revealed that Tobin served General Vaklu, indicating that Surik faced a formidable opponent in Iziz.
After Surik had completed the tasks, Mandalore decided to take her to Onderon so she could proceed with her mission. Kreia further requested Ordo's help, revealing her knowledge of Revan, whom Ordo had previously served in the previous war. However, just as Kreia left Ordo to contemplate her words, Sith assassins launched a surprise attack on the Mandalorians in the camp, having remained cloaked within the base. Surik and Kreia joined their allies to help fight off the invading force throughout the base.
However, Ordo decided to allow his people to finish dealing with the assassins while he and Surik would leave for Iziz at once.
The team arrived in Iziz, where Mandalore connected them with doctor Dhagon Ghent, an old friend of his. Their meeting in his office in the Merchant Quarter occurred after Surik and Ordo had assisted in clearing Ghent of murder charges against an Onderonian officer. Ghent successfully arranged a meeting between Surik and Kavar, but the meeting was cut short when Tobin forced them to flee from the cantina.
