Stak (cadet)

Stak started as a clone trainee, but his fate took a dark turn when he was captured by the Galactic Empire shortly after the Clone Wars concluded. Along with numerous other trainees, Stak was removed from the planet of Kamino and transported to a clandestine Imperial medical laboratory, where Doctor Royce Hemlock was in charge. There, samples of the clones' blood were collected for experimentation purposes.

When the Empire lost control of an experimental weapon at the facility, they initiated an evacuation of their personnel. During this chaotic period, Stak, along with his brothers Mox and Deke, managed to break free from the facility. Soon after, the Empire ordered an orbital bombardment to erase any trace of their activities there. Stak and his companions took refuge in the nearby forest, exercising caution to avoid the Slither Vines and utilizing their training to survive as a team.

One day, Stak and Deke encountered Hunter and Wrecker close to the northern ridge, who were on a mission to locate Hemlock's laboratory. The two led them back to their camp, where they informed Mox of their quest to find their lost squad-mate. When Hunter suggested searching the laboratory ruins for clues, Stak firmly stated that they would not guide them there, emphasizing the abundance of Slither Vines and the overall toxicity of the area. Despite Stak's warnings, Deke chose to lead them anyway, prompting Stak to try and dissuade him, but Deke disregarded his pleas and departed, guiding the two visitors toward the base's remains.

While Deke was away with Hunter and Wrecker, Stak attempted to persuade Mox to seize their visitors' ship and escape the planet. Stak recognized this as their chance to finally flee Setron, but Mox refused to abandon Deke. Stak cautioned that the slither vines posed a threat to the ship and could jeopardize their escape opportunity, prompting Mox to reconsider and instruct Stak to take him to the ship. Stak successfully bypassed the ship's door security and gained entry, although they decided to postpone their departure when Deke contacted them via comlink seeking assistance. Subsequently, they piloted the ship to rescue the three clones trapped within the facility.

Following their liberation from their isolated existence on Setron, the three young clones found sanctuary on Pabu. Later, they enjoyed ice cones there. After CX-2 destroyed the Marauder, Hunter instructed Stak and Mox to transport Wrecker to Shep's residence for medical attention, while Deke was tasked with enlisting AZI-3's help to treat Wrecker's injuries.
