Pabu, a diminutive planet characterized by its scattering of small islands, featured a remote island that served as a sanctuary. This sanctuary provided refuge for refugees who had been uprooted during the Clone Wars, as well as others subsequently. In approximately 18 BBY, Clone Force 99 journeyed to Pabu, guided by Phee Genoa's recommendation. She suggested it as a location beyond the reach of Cid, and a suitable place for them to establish a home with Omega. Genoa referred to the location as her "home away from home." The planet lacked spaceports or significant industrial activity, and its population primarily consisted of refugees seeking safety from various other planets. Clone Force 99 found the planet appealing and determined that it would be a suitable place to settle.
Following the rescue of clone cadets Deke, Stak, and Mox from the planet Setron, Hunter opted to leave the cadets on Pabu. Eventually, the Bad Batch reunited with Omega and Crosshair, and they made their way back to Pabu.
