Cade Skywalker comes across Celeste Morne along with her star destroyer which is filled with Rakghouls. Together, they formulate a strategy aimed at eliminating the leader of the One Sith, who is Darth Krayt. Concurrently, Karness Muur is actively seeking a more powerful host body. Roan Fel, on the other hand, is engaged in the effort to maintain the cohesion of his empire. Upon Cade and his companions' arrival at Korriban, they discover that the Sith lie in wait for them. Azlyn Rae successfully delivers a fatal strike, but she sustains a mortal wound in the process. With the Dark Lord appearing to be deceased, Morne requests release from her burden, and reflects that Zayne Carrick has at long last dispatched someone to attend to her. Muur's essence endures within his Talisman, and he endeavors to merge with Skywalker. Cade refuses the Sith Lord and employs his force powers to ultimately obliterate the Talisman. In the aftermath of the conflict, Darth Krayt's Advisor discovers his Master clinging to life and proceeds to betray him using Force lightning.
