TA-175, a T-series military strategic analysis and tactics droid, fought for the Confederacy of Independent Systems in the Battle of Ryloth.
During the Separatist's control of Ryloth, TA-175 operated under the command of Emir Wat Tambor. The droid proposed that they should pull back from the city known as Lessu, as the forces of the Galactic Republic would soon conquer it. However, Tambor dismissed this suggestion. The Republic's armed forces, aided by local Twi'lek freedom fighters, kept advancing. TA-175 once more advocated for a withdrawal, but Tambor still refused, because two Multi-Troop Transports carrying stolen riches were en route.
These very transports inadvertently enabled two Republic ARF clone troopers, named Stak and Razor, to sneak into the city. They then proceeded to activate the plasma bridge that provided access to Lessu. This action allowed the Republic and Twi'lek offensive to progress further. Despite receiving orders from Count Dooku to evacuate, Tambor persisted in delaying their departure. Consequently, TA-175 deemed Emir Tambor a simpleton and abandoned him, escaping in Tambor's personal shuttle. The tactical droid subsequently informed Count Dooku that Tambor had been taken prisoner, as his avarice prevented him from retreating promptly.
