Known by his designation CT-6910, Razor was an ARF trooper clone who fought for the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. As a soldier in Lightning Squadron, Razor served under the command of Clone Commander Ponds and Jedi Generals Mace Windu and Adi Gallia.
Razor, designated CT-6910 before adopting his nickname, was created as a clone trooper on the planet Kamino. He was cloned using the genetic template of the human male bounty hunter Jango Fett, destined to fight and die for the Galactic Republic within its vast Grand Army. This army initially saw action when the Jedi clashed with the droid forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems on Geonosis, marking the beginning of the galaxy-spanning Clone Wars. Jedi General Adi Gallia, a member of the Jedi Order's High Council during the final years of the Republic Era, was one of Razor's commanding officers.
During the Ryloth Campaign, Razor functioned as an ARF trooper within Lightning Squadron of the 91st Reconnaissance Corps's under the leadership of General Mace Windu and Clone Commander Ponds. When their forces were attacked by numerous AATs, Razor and the rest of Lightning Squadron aided Windu in clearing a route for the AT-TEs.
Razor and another ARF trooper named Stak volunteered to go with Windu to find Cham Syndulla and the hideout of his freedom fighters'. After taking out a droid patrol, Windu, Razor, and Stak located the resistance and were brought to their base.
After Windu and Syndulla allied to attack Lessu, Razor participated in infiltrating Lessu alongside Windu and Stak. Together, they managed to hide aboard one of the MTTs carrying treasure across the plasma bridge. When droids scanned them and found them out, Windu then Force-pushed Razor and Stak across the bridge as it was deactivated to stop Republic forces from crossing. Razor and Stak then proceeded to the control room, where they eliminated the battle droids and activated the bridge, allowing both the freedom fighters' blurrgs and Lightning Squadron's AT-RTs to cross. They then defended the control room against battle droids and a pair of BX-series droid commandos while Windu apprehended the Separatist leader, Emir Wat Tambor.
Following the battle, Razor received a commendation for valor due to his contribution to the battle that liberated Ryloth from Separatist control.
Razor, together with the other members of Lightning Squadron, went with General Windu and Commander Ponds to the planet Ridlay to investigated the communications failure. Subsequently, they were attacked by subterranean natives and later by battle droids under the command of Count Dooku.
