Plot summary

Aboard the Star Herald, CR-8R, known as "Crater," and BB-00, known as "Boo," were searching throughout the various sections of the starship. They were hunting for the Kowakian monkey-lizard named Noni, who had pilfered Boo's radar receiver. Emil Graf questioned the reason for all the commotion and expressed his disbelief that such a thorough search of the ship was necessary. Crater disregarded his concerns, prompting Graf to recount a relevant story.

Decades prior, inside Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, the bartender, Wuher, inquired whether Kabe desired her customary blue milk. However, Kabe lacked the necessary credits to pay for it, and her attempts to placate Wuher proved unsuccessful. Kabe departed in a huff, but she happened to overhear a conversation between two other patrons of the cantina. One of them mentioned that a heist could potentially yield more credits than they had ever dreamed of. Their task involved executing a heist on an Imperial cruiser. One of the patrons was very hesitant to agree to the plan. The hesitant patron stormed off, leaving the other one by themselves. Kabe exited the cantina and made her way towards the cruiser.

The cruiser was being guarded by stormtroopers, but Kabe managed to sneak past them. An Imperial officer noticed her presence, but she skillfully evaded his detection. However, she was spotted by stormtroopers, who immediately opened fire upon her. She skillfully dodged their blaster fire and deployed a thermal detonator in their vicinity. The detonator exploded, creating an opening for Kabe to enter the cruiser.

She identified her target ahead, but inadvertently triggered booby traps. She deftly avoided all the red lasers that were fired at her and successfully escaped the cruiser with her prize. Upon returning to the cantina, she surprised the patron with the recovered object. He compensated her handsomely with a substantial amount of credits, and Wuher rewarded her with an additional glass of blue milk.

Returning to the events on the Star Herald, Graf placed a cake down, which immediately attracted Noni's attention. Graf emphasized that sometimes, opting for the simplest solution is the most effective approach. Crater speculated that Noni's fondness for space cakes was comparable to Kabe's affection for blue milk.
