Tay Kolma was a male human banker working at the Bank Of Kolma. He lived on the planet Chandrila throughout the Imperial Era. He and Senator Mon Mothma were longtime friends, and he eventually met her daughter, Leida, when she was a child. Kolma's family included two sisters, named Adrine and Marsa.
In 5 BBY, Kolma was present at a party that Mothma and her husband, Perrin Fertha, threw at their apartment on Coruscant. While at the gathering, Mothma confided in him that she was no longer able to easily access funds from her family's accounts. Mothma told him she was starting a Chandrilan charity program and requested that Kolma serve as its chairman. Despite Kolma's request for more details, Mothma declined to provide them, suggesting it was better for him to remain uninformed. Before Kolma could press the matter, Fertha interrupted their conversation, seeking Mothma's assistance in engaging with other attendees.
