"The Starfighter Stunt" is the initial season's twelfth installment of the animated micro-series Star Wars Forces of Destiny. The events of this episode unfold during the period of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It initially premiered as a component of the first special on October 1, 2017, before its subsequent release on YouTube on October 4.

In the vastness of space, Padawan Ahsoka Tano is instructing Senator Padmé Amidala in the art of starfighter combat maneuvers. Both women are piloting a pair of N-1 starfighters. Furthermore, R2-D2 is present, situated in the astromech socket of Padmé's starfighter. Tano comments to Amidala that her skills are improving, but she needs to maintain her pace. As they navigate their starfighters past an asteroid, a concealed and lurking modified Vulture droid emerges from beneath the asteroid and begins to pursue them. R2-D2 detects the droid and alerts both Amidala and Tano. The pair then leads the droid starfighter on a chase across a nearby comet.
Amidala questions how to overcome the droid fighter, and Tano responds that droids lack the ability to improvise, so they must do something unexpected. The Vulture droid launches a green sonic wave towards Amidala's starfighter. Tano intervenes, shielding Amidala's fighter by intercepting the sonic wave. This renders her unconscious, but she remains alive. While Tano's ship floats aimlessly, the droid fighter persists in its pursuit, damaging one of the engines of Amidala's fighter. Amidala instructs R2-D2 to extinguish the engine fire.
Taking inspiration from Tano's suggestion to improvise, Amidala guides the N-1 fighter into the comet. She then reemerges and ambushes the droid fighter from behind, successfully shooting it down. The droid fighter subsequently crashes into the comet and detonates. Following this, Amidala contacts Tano via intercom. Tano is conscious but experiences a headache resulting from the sonic boom. Amidala assures her that she destroyed the droid. While Amidala expresses surprise at her own starfighter abilities, Tano reassures her friend that she has always possessed strong instincts. Amidala expresses her gratitude, and they both return home.
