Tuck Tyrell was a male human who fought for the Alliance to Restore the Republic in the Galactic Civil War against the forces of the Galactic Empire. He was a member of the Pathfinders Special forces unit. Under the command of Kes Dameron, Tyrell took part in the Battle of Endor. As part of the Rebel contingent sent to the moon of Endor, he was tasked with destroying the shield generator bunker that protected the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station in orbit. Following the successful destruction of both the bunker and the Death Star, the Pathfinders celebrated their triumph throughout the night. During the festivities, Tyrell, who sustained injuries during the battle, was approached by Shara Bey, Dameron's wife, and engaged in flirtatious behavior while she inquired about Dameron's whereabouts. Before Tyrell could respond, Dameron arrived, interrupting the exchange by providing Tyrell with a medkit and playfully reprimanding him for his flirting. The subsequent morning, the Pathfinders, alongside General Han Solo, participated in the capturing of an Imperial holdout located on the opposite side of Endor.
The character of Tuck Tyrell made his initial appearance in the comic book Shattered Empire 1, which was penned by Greg Rucka and published in 2015, featuring artwork by Marco Checchetto.
