A male individual named Tyros was employed as a dig-rig operator, collaborating with a crew on the planet of Vernid during the era of the Galactic Civil War. He harbored romantic feelings for a boy residing in a nearby town, making weekly visits to see him. In the year 4 ABY, he formed a partnership with a new employee, "Devon Lhent," questioning his colleague about an event from the previous night, although Lhent minimized the significance of the occurrence. The following night, Tyros, along with other workers, attended the Red Moon Festival held in the settlement of Bakerstown. While there, he encouraged Lhent to engage in conversations with his acquaintances about their profession to enhance his image. After approximately thirty minutes of interaction, Tyros vowed to assist his crewmate in meeting any women he found attractive, asserting that he was acquainted with everyone.
During the time of the Galactic Civil War, Tyros was a member of a dig-rig crew working as a hauler within the worm farming sector on the [Outer Rim](/article/outer_rim_territories] planet Vernid. As the youngest member of the group, he was known for leaving equipment in the water after work and regularly taking a shuttle to a nearby town each week to spend time with a boy he was fond of. In 4 ABY, Tyros was visiting his love interest while the rest of his crew went to a local cantina. During this cantina visit, a new crew member calling himself "Devon Lhent" inquired about Tyros's whereabouts, leading the crew hauler Klevin and rigswoman Nanchia to discuss the boy's habit of visiting his crush. Soon after, Lhent expressed his disapproval of the New Republic's attack on [Galactic Empire](/article/galactic_empire] forces in the Pandem Nai system, causing a disturbance among the other patrons.

Tyros became aware of the incident by the following morning. He was assigned to work with Lhent on the rig that day, where he adjusted cranks while Lhent operated levers and signaled other crews with lamps. About an hour into their shift, Tyros inquired about the events of the previous night, but Lhent, wishing to prevent the spread of information about the incident, minimized its significance. After the day's shifts concluded, Lhent inspected Tyros's work to ensure he hadn't left any equipment in the water again.
The subsequent night, Tyros and his fellow workers attended the Red Moon Festival in the settlement of Bakerstown. While there, Tyros encouraged Lhent to introduce himself to his friends, suggesting he talk about their work to impress them. Lhent conversed with Tyros's friends for about thirty minutes. When his crewmate finished his conversations, Tyros secretly reassured him that he would offer assistance if needed and encouraged him to mention if he was interested in anyone present, as he knew everyone. Later that night, Lhent ended up killing two New Republic agents who had arrived to arrest him, subsequently fleeing Vernid.
Tyros was a friendly young man with a wide circle of friends and acquaintances on Vernid, claiming familiarity with "everyone." He had a tendency to leave equipment in the water after completing his tasks, which irritated his colleagues. Tyros also had romantic feelings for another boy, whom he visited on a regular weekly basis. Due to his focus on social activities, some of his coworkers speculated that Tyros might eventually fail to report for work, but they decided against covering for him, believing he needed to learn responsibility. At the Red Moon Festival, he prompted Lhent to make himself look good to his friends. Afterward, Tyros promised his crewmate to help him with any of the man's romantic interests.
Tyros made an appearance in the 2019 novel titled Alphabet Squadron, authored by Alexander Freed.
