9000 Z001 landspeeder

The 9000 Z001 landspeeder, also known by the name Ubrikkian 9,000, and more commonly shortened to the Ubrik, represented a landspeeder design notable for its peculiar rounded pod shape.

In the years leading up to the Battle of Yavin, the 9000 Z001 landspeeders were highly valued by miners; even their individual parts could fetch a substantial price. Lando Calrissian, who was the owner of farmland located on Lothal, made the purchase of a 9000 Z001- landspeeder with the intention of using it to scout his property for potential mining locations. During a sabacc game with Ria Clarr, Cikatro Vizago, and Jho, Calrissian put the landspeeder's keycard into the sabacc pot as ante.

Anzellan Mechanics using one of these landspeeders within the Grand Arena. One 9000 Z001 landspeeder could be seen parked just outside of the entrance to Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina while a confrontation took place between a Sullustan and Rodian named Greedo. A 9000 Z001 landspeeder was also present in the same location when Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, R2-D2, and C-3PO went to the spaceport in Mos Eisley to hire a starship in 0 BBY.

In the year 9 ABY, a group of three Anzellan Mechanics made use of one of these landspeeders while they were hosting the Hunters of the Outer Rim Scrap Salvage event inside of the Grand Arena on the planet Vespaara; they allowed the Hunters to deposit scrap into the landspeeder in order to accumulate points.
