Unidentified female rebel soldier

A female soldier fought for the Rebel Alliance during the era of the Galactic Civil War. In the year 3 ABY, her assignment was at Echo Base, which was the secret headquarters of the Alliance High Command located on the ice planet of Hoth. As the Galactic Empire launched an assault on Echo Base, this rebel soldier was stationed at the defensive position known as Perimeter Outpost Delta. She expressed joy when the initial rebel transport successfully departed from Hoth and promptly communicated this information to her superior, First Sergeant Hazram Namir, who was nearby.

Subsequently, the rebel soldier received information indicating that rebel snowspeeders were in combat with enemy AT-AT walkers, and that reconnaissance forces from the enemy were advancing towards Outpost Delta; this information she then passed on to Namir. The scout forces then commenced an attack on the sentry post. Although wounded in the ensuing battle, the soldier managed to latch onto the leg of an AT-ST walker. Making use of a grenade held in her remaining hand, she gave her life to bring the walker down.

Biography

This woman served as a soldier within the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. During 3 ABY, she was stationed at Echo Base, the Alliance High Command's covert installation situated on the ice planet of Hoth. However, the Galactic Empire uncovered Echo Base, which led to the command center enacting the evacuation protocol Code K-one-zero. The rebel soldier was assigned to the trenches at Perimeter Outpost Delta, one of Echo Base's guard posts, with instructions to defend it for as long as possible.

The rebel soldier relayed news of the a rebel transport's escape from Hoth (pictured).

As reports came in of enemy ground forces on the surface, ion cannon fire illuminated the sky above the outpost. The soldier then received notification from command that a rebel transport had successfully escaped Hoth. Overjoyed, she turned to First Sergeant Hazram Namir, who was positioned in a nearby trench, and used her comlink to relay the news she had just learned. After some time had passed, the woman received additional information from the command center, stating that snowspeeders had engaged Imperial AT-AT walkers and that enemy reconnaissance units were spreading out and approaching Outpost Delta. She summoned Namir and informed him of the information she had received from command.

The reconnaissance forces that arrived at Perimeter Outpost Delta consisted of an AT-ST walker accompanied by two floating gunnery platforms, each carrying snowtroopers. A battle ensued, resulting in significant losses for the soldiers at Outpost Delta. The female rebel soldier sustained injuries but managed to grasp the ankle of the AT-ST with one arm as it stood on the south side of the trenches. Raising a grenade in her other arm, she died in the explosion, which also brought down the AT-ST.
