Unidentified Imperial deck officer (Trask)

A deck officer, a male human, served as a lieutenant in a Galactic Empire remnant under the command of Moff Gideon. He was stationed on a Gozanti-class Assault Carrier. In 9 ABY, this vessel was attacked above the moon Trask by a quartet of Mandalorians. Tasked with defending the cargo bay, the deck officer instead directed his stormtroopers to isolate the Mandalorians within the cargo control zone. After relaying this information to his captain, the opening of the cargo bay doors by the attackers resulted in the officer being ejected from the Gozanti.

Biography

During the New Republic era, this deck officer was a member of Moff Gideon's Galactic Empire remnant. As a lieutenant, he was assigned to a Gozanti-class Assault Carrier in 9 ABY. While departing the estuary moon of Trask, the starship under his command was boarded by four Mandalorians: Bo-Katan Kryze, Din Djarin, Koska Reeves, and Axe Woves. A group of stormtroopers gathered in the cargo bay where the deck officer was stationed. The officer used his comlink to inquire with the bridge about the situation. The security officer informed him that the Mandalorians were approaching, and the captain ordered him to delay the intruders until the ship could enter hyperspace.

Brandishing his SE-14r light repeating blaster, the deck officer communicated the captain's orders to his stormtroopers, who aimed at the expected entry point of the Mandalorians: a lift at the end of the corridor leading from the cargo bay. When the lift doors opened, the Mandalorians engaged the officer's troopers, quickly eliminating several. After firing a few shots, the deck officer sought cover and ordered the closure of all doors in the hallway to the cargo bay. When a stormtrooper questioned which door, the officer commanded, "all of them."

Following the stormtrooper's closure of the door behind the Mandalorians, the deck officer reiterated the order to close all doors. The intruders were then confined to the cargo control area adjacent to the cargo bay, a fact the officer reported to the captain. Subsequently, the Mandalorians utilized the control area to open the cargo bay doors, resulting in the deck officer and his stormtroopers being expelled from the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier and falling towards Trask. The security officer attempted to contact the cargo bay, but only received a response from Kryze, who had acquired the deck officer's comlink.
