A captain, a male human, was a member of Moff Gideon's Galactic Empire remnant. This officer commanded an Imperial Gozanti-class Assault Carrier. Above the moon Trask, in 9 ABY, four Mandalorians under the leadership of Bo-Katan Kryze attacked this vessel. The captain secured himself within the bridge, while stormtroopers attempted to defend the hallways, but were quickly defeated. Soon after, he initiated the Gozanti_ assault carrier's departure from Trask.
After the Mandalorians gained control of the cargo bay, the captain issued a threat to pursue them if they attempted to stow away with any cargo crates. Subsequently, he contacted Gideon, requesting the moff's assistance. However, Gideon instructed him to sacrifice both himself and the Gozanti. Consequently, the captain killed his bridge officers and directed the assault carrier on a collision course towards Trask. Nonetheless, the Mandalorians intervened, and Kryze interrogated him to discover Gideon's whereabouts. The captain then took his own life by activating a suicide shocker device in his mouth.
During the reign of the New Republic, the captain was a member of a remnant under the command of Moff Gideon. In 9 ABY, he was in command of an Imperial Gozanti-class Assault Carrier that traveled to the estuary moon of Trask within the Kol Iben system. Its mission was to export weapons from a black market port, using resources that were stolen from the planet of Mandalore. A trio of Mandalorians, specifically Bo-Katan Kryze, Koska Reeves, and Axe Woves, launched repeated attacks on the Gozanti Assault Carrier. As a precaution, the crew conducted scans for lifeforms before the assault carrier's scheduled departure.
At the beginning of the day, the Gozanti initiated its journey, navigating a shipping lane in preparation for its ascent from Trask. However, Kryze, Reeves, and Woves launched an attack on the assault carrier, accompanied by the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin. As the four Mandalorians engaged the stormtroopers on the Gozanti's exterior walkways, the captain proceeded to the bridge, where the ship's security officer informed him about the unfolding situation. Subsequently, a stormtrooper fell onto the bridge window from above, prompting the captain to order the hallway leading to the bridge to be guarded and the door sealed.

The Mandalorians successfully infiltrated the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier and began eliminating more stormtroopers. The captain requested an update, seeking information on the number of attackers. While a stormtrooper reported at least ten attackers via comms, the security officer asserted that only four enemy lifeforms were present. The stormtrooper then identified the Mandalorians before being killed. The captain inquired about the timeline for the assault carrier's entry into hyperspace. After the ship's pilot informed him that they were not yet authorized to ascend, the captain forcefully ordered the Gozanti assault carrier to immediately increase altitude.
The Mandalorians advanced towards the cargo bay, where the ship's deck officer was instructed by the captain to delay the infiltrators until the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier could enter hyperspace. The captain then monitored the comms as the deck officer directed his stormtroopers to trap the Mandalorians by closing the doors. The deck officer informed the captain that the enemies were confined within the cargo control area. The captain realized that the Mandalorians could now exploit the cargo control area, but it was too late as the deck officer and his troops were expelled from the assault carrier when the Mandalorians opened the cargo bay doors.
The security officer contacted the cargo bay, and Kryze responded, boasting about the Mandalorians' intentions for the seized weapons. The captain threatened to pursue the infiltrators if they stole any crates. However, his adversary declared her intention to seize control of the entire assault carrier. Consequently, the captain contacted Gideon, informing the moff about the ongoing attack and requesting reinforcements. After the captain detailed the extent of the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier that had been taken, Gideon implicitly ordered him to sacrifice the vessel. The captain complied with Gideon's order and used his SE-14r light repeating blaster to shoot the pilot and security officer.

Assuming control of the pilot's station, the captain forced the Gozanti assault carrier into a nosedive towards Trask's surface. However, the Mandalorians reached the bridge, with Djarin pulling the captain from his seat and taking control of the pilot station alongside Reeves. As the two Mandalorians corrected the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier's trajectory, Kryze held the captain at knifepoint, demanding to know if Gideon possessed the Darksaber, an ancient lightsaber that served as a symbol of leadership within Mandalorian culture. The captain assured her that she already knew the answer. Kryze promised to spare his life if he led her to the moff. However, the captain claimed that Gideon would not allow him to live, and he forcibly clenched his teeth, activating a suicide shocker that resulted in his death.

The captain was a male human with light skin, grey hair, and blue eyes. Upon discovering that his Gozanti-class Assault Carrier was under attack, he sealed the bridge and had the hallways guarded to ensure his own safety. As the Mandalorians continued to overcome waves of stormtroopers, the captain frequently requested updates from his officers and expedited the assault carrier's ascent. He advised the deck officer and his troops to stall for time to allow the Gozanti assault carrier to escape, and he took a moment to realize that the deck officer had inadvertently given the Mandalorians control of the cargo bay doors. After hearing the officer and his troopers being expelled from the assault carrier, the captain nervously swallowed.
When Bo-Katan Kryze seized control of the cargo bay, the captain asserted that he would pursue the Mandalorian and her accomplices if they stole from the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier. With the infiltrators having gained control of a significant portion of the assault carrier, the captain contacted Gideon for assistance. After being instructed by the moff to sacrifice himself and the Gozanti assault carrier, the captain complied and killed his two officers on the bridge to take control of the pilot's station. In response to Bo-Katan Kryze's promise to spare his life if he led her to Gideon, the captain, knowing that Gideon would kill him regardless, committed suicide.

The captain wore the standard uniform of an Imperial naval command officer, which included an Imperial kepi and a code cylinder attached below each shoulder. He wore a rank insignia plaque on his left breast featuring three red bars above three blue bars. The captain used an SE-14r light repeating blaster to fatally shoot his two officers on the bridge and ultimately committed suicide using an electric shock mechanism in his mouth, which he could activate by forcibly clenching his teeth.
The captain made an appearance in "Chapter 11: The Heiress" of Jon Favreau's 2019 Disney+ television series, The Mandalorian, directed by Bryce Dallas Howard and released on November 13, 2020. He was credited as "captain" and portrayed by Titus Welliver, with Con Schell serving as the stunt double.
