Unidentified Imperial freighter pilot

A freighter pilot, who was a male human, was a member of Moff Gideon's Galactic Empire remnant, and held the rank of lieutenant. This individual served on an Imperial Gozanti-class Assault Carrier. In 9 ABY, this vessel was attacked over the moon Trask by a group of four Mandalorians under the command of Bo-Katan Kryze.

The captain instructed the pilot to move their ship away from Trask's atmosphere before exiting the local harbor's limits. The pilot was present during a conversation between Gideon and the captain after the ship's deck officer was killed by the Mandalorians. The captain then shot the freighter pilot after getting new orders.

Biography

During the reign of the New Republic, the lieutenant pilot of the freighter served within the Galactic Empire remnant led by Moff Gideon. In 9 ABY, he was a pilot on an Imperial Gozanti-class Assault Carrier, working alongside a security officer. One day, the Gozanti assault carrier began its departure from the estuary moon of Trask when it was attacked by a quartet of Mandalorians. The captain of the assault carrier went to the bridge, where the security officer briefed him right before a stormtrooper crashed onto the bridge viewport. As a result, the captain instructed the freighter pilot to seal the bridge.

The freighter pilot was in the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier's cockpit with the freighter's captain and security officer.

After boarding the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier, the Mandalorians began to eliminate the defending stormtroopers. The three officers on the bridge listened to reports before the stormtrooper on the comm was killed. The captain then inquired with the freighter pilot about the time it would take for the Gozanti cruiser to jump to hyperspace. The pilot stated that the cruiser could not jump until it had cleared Trask's harbor zone, but the captain ordered him and the security officer to begin the jump immediately.

The freighter pilot listened as the Imperial deck officer couldn't hold off the Mandalorians and when the Mandalorians' leader Bo-Katan Kryze spoke with the bridge, threatening to seize the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier. The captain contacted Gideon in front of the freighter pilot, asking for immediate reinforcements. Upon hearing how dire the situation was, Gideon implicitly ordered the captain to destroy the assault carrier. The pilot and the security officer exchanged fearful glances, and the captain complied with the moff's orders, shooting the pair with his blaster. The captain then attempted to crash the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier but was stopped by the Mandalorians.

Personality and traits

The freighter pilot was a human male who had light skin, black hair, and brown eyes. While at his post on the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier, he kept a neutral expression, but he gave the security officer a fearful look when he overheard Moff Gideon giving the captain new orders.

The pilot wore the typical uniform for an Imperial naval officer, which included an Imperial kepi and two code cylinders below each shoulder. On his left breast, he wore a rank insignia plaque with two red bars above two blue, indicating the rank of lieutenant.
