Unidentified Imperial Security Bureau admiral

A male of human descent held the distinguished rank of admiral within the Galactic Empire's Imperial Security Bureau. Sometime between 12 BBY and 0 BBY, he uncovered the terrorist plans orchestrated by Yasaburō, who was the leader of the Yasaburō clan on the planet known as Tao. Seeking to de-escalate the situation, he engaged in dialogue with Ochō, Yasaburō's daughter, who then consented to negotiate with her father and put an end to his schemes. Later, after Ochō was unsuccessful in swaying her father, she and her sister Lop encountered a blockade, where the admiral conversed with them. Lop became aware of their prior agreement, and Ochō expressed regret for her inability to halt her father's actions, stating her intention to persuade or compel him to cease his activities. Subsequently, the admiral extended an invitation for her to join the Empire, which Ochō accepted.

Biography

The admiral convinced Ochō to join the Empire.

An individual, a male of the human species, occupied the position of admiral within the Imperial Security Bureau of the Galactic Empire. During the period spanning from 12 BBY to 0 BBY, he discovered the existence of terrorist plans being formulated by Yasaburō, who was the head of the Yasaburō clan situated on the planet Tao, and who opposed the Empire's planetary redevelopment efforts. To prevent the situation from worsening, the admiral engaged in discussions with Ochō, Yasaburō's daughter, who pledged to negotiate with her father on behalf of the Empire and vowed to suppress the insurrection. Following an attack on Tao's Imperial base, Ochō engaged in a dispute with Yasaburō, but was unable to convince him to cease his opposition to the Empire. After their disagreement, Ochō and her sister Lop drove a landspeeder along a bridge until they reached a blockade that had been established by the admiral and a contingent of stormtroopers.

The admiral informed Ochō that he had been awaiting their arrival, and the sisters subsequently disembarked from their landspeeder. Lop inquired of Ocho whether she was acquainted with the Imperial officer, to which the admiral responded affirmatively. He then proceeded to inform Lop of their agreement, explaining that Ochō comprehended the advantages that the Empire provided. Ochō corroborated the admiral's assertions to Lop, stating that Yasaburō was blinded by idealism. The admiral then conveyed to Ochō that if she failed to bring the Yasaburō clan under control, the Empire would impose harsh conditions upon them, but that he was confident she would understand. Ochō offered an apology and asserted that she would either persuade Yasaburō or compel him to cease his activities.

Expressing admiration for her resolve, the admiral extended an invitation for her to participate in the Empire's redevelopment initiative, asserting that it was in the best interests of the planet. He further added that they could bring an end to the bloodshed. Despite Lop's attempts to dissuade Ochō from siding with the Empire, Ochō severed her hair and aligned herself with the admiral. Witnessing this, Lop leapt off the bridge, eliciting a chuckle from the admiral. Ochō attained the rank of lieutenant within the Empire and soon thereafter engaged in combat against Yasaburō and Lop, but was ultimately compelled to retreat by the latter.
