Unidentified Jedi (Marda Ro)

A Jedi, who was a human and a Force-sensitive member of the esteemed Jedi Order, found himself at a diverse marketplace situated on an unidentified astronomical object. It was there, around 379 BBY, that his life took a dark turn when he was ambushed by Marda Ro. Marda Ro was the originator of a pirate group that would evolve into the formidable Nihil. Instead of ending his life, she instead brought the human aboard her ship, the Gaze Electric. Once aboard the Gaze, Marda's underlings forcibly escorted the Jedi to the Great Leveler, a terrifying creature that sustained itself by consuming the Living Force. The Leveler ultimately killed the Jedi, leaving behind only a drained, lifeless shell of his former self. Much later, Ro made mention of this Jedi in a message intended for her descendants, a message that her great-great-grandson, Marchion Ro, would eventually listen to by the year 252 BBY.

Biography

In the vicinity of 379 BBY, a Force-sensitive human who was a Jedi was present at a varied marketplace located on an unidentified astronomical object. It was there that he was approached by Marda Ro, the individual responsible for founding the band of marauders destined to become the Nihil. She inquired whether he had a [Padawan](/article/padawan] under his tutelage. Upon the Jedi's negative response, Ro launched an assault, tearing at his flesh with her claws. As a consequence, Ro became covered in the Jedi's blood.

The Great Leveler (pictured) killed the Jedi by turning him into a husk.

Instead of letting him die, she took him back to her ship, the Gaze Electric, in a shuttle. Ro's subordinates, Milan Stor and Rox, forcibly brought the Jedi before the Great Leveler, a being that hunted Force-sensitives and fed on the Living Force. When the Leveler reached out to him, the Jedi awoke and began to scream. Despite his attempts to escape, he slipped in his own blood, and the Leveler ended his life. The Jedi was transformed into a lifeless husk, resembling stone. Ro, Stor, and Rox all witnessed his demise, although Stor and Rox eventually averted their gaze before the process was complete.

Ro took pride in being covered in his blood, and when she found herself alone, she used it to paint a large red sun on the walls of the throne hall aboard the Gaze. The events surrounding the Jedi's capture and death, along with the subsequent events, were later documented by Ro in a message intended for her descendants. By 252 BBY, during his formative years, Marchion Ro, her great-great-grandson, had listened to her journal, including the message where the Jedi was mentioned.
