A member of the New Republic's Starfighter Corps, this pilot participated in the Galactic Civil War. In 4 ABY, after the Battle of Endor, they piloted a T-65B X-wing starfighter in a battle that took place over the planet Var-Shaa. During this battle, the pilot and other freedom fighters destroyed the Galactic Empire's dockyard orbiting the planet. Soon after, they perished during a dogfight in Var-Shaa's mountains against the Imperial ace Varko Grey.
This pilot was featured in "Hunted," a short promotional film for Star Wars: Squadrons. The film debuted on EA's YouTube channel on September 14, 2020. The game offers a cosmetic item called the "Var-Shaa Hunter," which is a skin for the X-wing based on this pilot's craft, and is given to players who pre-ordered the game.
