He traveled with three other Pykes into the Mos Pelgo territories of Tatooine, discussing the fate of their cargo of spice and credits near some moisture vaporators next to their landspeeder. As they deliberated their next move, [Marshal](/article/marshal] Cobb Vanth from Mos Pelgo approached the group. When Vanth advised caution, the courier instinctively reached for his blaster pistol, while the marshal firmly grasped his own [pistol](/article/pistol].
The courier and his companions exchanged glances with Vanth, who asserted his authority over the territories and offered the Pykes a chance to leave without incident. The courier, signaling to his companions, feigned agreement with the marshal's terms by turning away from Vanth. However, the Pyke then made a sudden attempt to draw his blaster on Vanth, but the marshal reacted faster, fatally shooting the courier and two of his comrades as they tried to attack. The courier fell dead to the ground with a final groan, and Vanth instructed the Pyke's surviving colleague to escape and deliver a warning to the syndicate.
