The courier, a male Pyke, was an operative of the Pyke Syndicate. This individual worked on the planet Tatooine circa 9 ABY. While overseeing their shipment within the Mos Pelgo territories, he and a trio of other Pykes were confronted by Marshal Cobb Vanth from the settlement of Mos Pelgo. Vanth killed the courier's companions, allowing the courier to escape aboard their landspeeder carrying their credits.

The male Pyke functioned as a courier for the Pyke Syndicate around the time of 9 ABY. During the takeover of the desert planet Tatooine by the syndicate, he and a group of three other Pykes found themselves in the Mos Pelgo territories of Tatooine. Near some moisture vaporators, the quartet was inspecting their cargo, consisting of spice and credits, which was located at their landspeeder. As the Pykes discussed their plans for the cargo, they were interrupted by Marshal Cobb Vanth of Mos Pelgo. Vanth, holding his pistol, warned the Pykes against making any sudden movements. The courier and his fellow Pykes observed Vanth, who declared his authority over the territories and offered the Pykes the opportunity to peacefully retreat back to their syndicate.
After one of the Pykes, a fellow courier, exchanged a nod with a Pyke guard, the group tried to fire on Vanth, with the courier reaching for a weapon in the landspeeder. However, Vanth was faster, shooting down all the Pykes except for the courier. The Pyke, surrendering, raised his hands, and the marshal instructed him to warn his superiors that any spice runner entering his territory would not return. After Vanth made him leave his chest of spice, the Pyke said that it was worth more than Mos Pelgo, but the marshal joked that he would therefore retire. The guard left the spice, jumped into his speeder, and departed.

The courier, a male Pyke, initially attempted to surprise Cobb Vanth with a swift attack, but he chose to surrender once the marshal quickly eliminated his three companions. After Vanth confiscated the courier's chest of spice as a fine, the Pyke made a comparison between its value and the town governed by the marshal.
The Pyke courier was dressed in brown and black clothing, complemented by a brown belt and boots, along with a dark helmet featuring a silver breath mask. He was armed and utilized a landspeeder for transportation.
This Pyke guard made an appearance in "Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger," the sixth installment of the Disney+ series titled The Book of Boba Fett. Dave Filoni directed the episode, which premiered on February 2, 2022.
