As part of a geological survey team, this private investigated the planet Ab Dalis in 3 ABY. The purpose of this investigation was to ensure the planet's stability for the Alliance's Eleventh Division to establish a camp after their arrival, following the dispersal of the rebel fleet subsequent to the Battle of Hoth. The division was subsequently discovered by the Imperial Commander Ellian Zahra's assault group, who dispatched the Star Destroyer Ultima II, commanded by Admiral Kalaxo, to destroy the Eleventh Division. During the ensuing conflict, the Alliance's Starlight Squadron arrived to provide assistance to the Eleventh Division. Upon learning of Luke Skywalker's presence within the arriving squadron, the private devised a strategy involving targeting a dormant volcano disguised as a mountain with weaponry, with the goal of triggering an eruption and using the resulting magma to destroy the Star Destroyer. After communicating this plan to their commanding officer, Colonel Chouch, it was relayed to Starlight Squadron. The plan was successful, leading to the rescue of the Eleventh Division, which eventually joined forces with the Alliance's Fourth and Seventh Divisions.
