Unidentified Rodian prisoner

A male Rodian, his gender identifiable, was held as a prisoner by a tribe of Tusken Raiders on the planet of Tatooine circa 4 ABY. This Rodian prisoner found himself alongside another captive, the renowned bounty hunter known as Boba Fett. When Fett tried to break free, the Rodian alerted the Tusken Raiders to his attempt. Subsequently, both prisoners were tasked with gathering water, accompanied by a Tusken child. After they came across a moisture farm under attack, the child instructed the prisoners to dig for water pouches. It was during this digging that the Rodian unearthed a sand beast, which proceeded to attack and bury them in the sand, leading to their suffocation.

Biography

The Rodian was taken prisoner by a tribe of Tuskens who also captured Boba Fett.

Around the time of 4 ABY, a Rodian found himself in the captivity of a Tusken Raider tribe, bound to a snapped tree limb. The raiders then captured another individual, the well-known bounty hunter Boba Fett, who had suffered a significant defeat during a skirmish near a Sarlacc pit. Fett was secured to a tree branch beside the Rodian near a fireplace for the night, guarded by a massiff. Upon awakening, the bounty hunter surveyed his surroundings and exchanged a glance with the Rodian prisoner before managing to escape his restraints. He did so by provoking the massiff and using its teeth. Fett then offered to release the Rodian, but instead, the Rodian shouted to alert the Tuskens, resulting in the freed prisoner being chased down and quickly recaptured.

The following morning, a Tusken child escorted the Rodian prisoner and Fett, along with the massiff, across the Tatooine dunes, with Fett struggling due to his weakened state. They arrived in the vicinity of a homestead that was being raided by a gang of Kajain'sa'Niktos. The Tusken child instead directed the Rodian and Fett to a different location and instructed them to begin digging for black melons. While Fett struggled to understand the child's instructions, the Rodian prisoner immediately started digging, prompting their fellow captive to join in. The Rodian quickly unearthed a black melon and handed it to the Tusken before resuming their digging.

A Tatooine sand beast kills the Rodian

As the two prisoners continued to dig, the Rodian discovered another black melon for the Tusken child, while Fett reluctantly surrendered his first find. When the child and Massiff dozed off, Fett complained to the Rodian, suggesting they could escape, reach the settlement of Anchorhead, and leave the planet. The Rodian ignored him, so he threatened to strangle them with their ankle chain, leading the Rodian to snap back at him until he advised them to lower their voice. While still digging, the Rodian then uncovered a scaly limb, which attacked them. A sand beast emerged from the sand and attacked the Rodian, suffocating the prisoner in the sand. Fett killed the creature after, and returned to the Tusken tribe with the child and Massiff.

Personality and traits

The Rodian had pink skin and black eyes. Despite his captive status with the Tuskens, the prisoner displayed loyalty to them, informing them of Fett's attempted escape and willingly cooperating with the Tusken child. The Rodian exclusively spoke and understood his native language, unable to comprehend Boba Fett in Galactic Basic Standard, who intended to free him by mistaking him for flaying him. Still, he did understand from the tone of voice when he was being insulted in the Galactic Basic Standard.

Equipment

The Rodian was dressed in a yellow and dark brown jumpsuit paired with brown boots.
