UV-8855, initially known as Frey, who later gained the moniker "Warcry", was a human female belonging to the Scyre. Born to Ylva and Keldo, she joined the Scyre and the Claw in their pursuit of Phasma, Torben, Carr, Siv, and Gosta. These individuals were on a quest to aid Brendol Hux in his return to his ship, which had suffered a crash landing on the planet of Parnassos. After their return to the ship and the subsequent arrival of the First Order to rescue Hux, both Frey and Phasma were inducted into the First Order. Frey was then placed under the supervision of Captain Cardinal, assigned the designation UV-8855, and trained as a stormtrooper. She earned the nickname "Warcry" from her fellow trainees because of her battle screams during charges. By the time Vi Moradi was captured in 34 ABY by the First Order aboard the Absolution, a Resurgent-class Star Destroyer, Frey had been dead for a duration of six months. Her death was attributed by Phasma, by then a Captain within the Order, to a weapon malfunction during a training exercise. However, both Cardinal and Vi speculated that the "accident" was intentionally orchestrated by Phasma, as Frey represented another link to her past that she desired to sever.
The character UV-8855 made her debut appearance in the 2017 novel titled Phasma. Subsequently, a young girl's image featured in a flashback within the third installment of the Star Wars: Captain Phasma miniseries. Delilah S. Dawson, the author of the novel, later confirmed that this girl was indeed Frey.
