An individual named Vazzet Dipterz held the position of technician among the Cyclorrian species. He functioned as a taskmaster, overseeing a group of Cyclorrians who aligned themselves with the Resistance. He was almost always observed operating his loadlifter workframe. Dipterz's assigned location was the Resistance base situated on the moon known as Ajan Kloss. In the year 35 ABY, he engaged in a conversation with a representative from the Ground Logistics Division while positioned near the CR90 corvette named Tantive IV.
Vazzet Dipterz, a Cyclorrian, served as a taskmaster, leading a Cyclorrian swarm within the Resistance during their war against the First Order. As a technician for the Resistance, he was a key member based on the jungle moon of Ajan Kloss.
During 35 ABY, Dipterz occupied his loadlifter workframe at the base when Rey, a Jedi trainee, returned from Jedi training to confer with General Leia Organa. Simultaneously, Dipterz was in discussion with a member of the Ground Logistics Division adjacent to the CR90 corvette Tantive IV, which was parked nearby. As the Resistance forces on Ajan Kloss began readying themselves for an attack aimed at the planet Exegol, Dipterz was positioned on his workframe beneath the CR90 corvette Tantive IV as preparations were made for its departure.

In his role as taskmaster, Vazzet Dipterz exerted dominance over his swarm. He was displeased when Wizzich Mozzer, another Cyclorrian, initiated the spread of sabacc playing among the group. However, he permitted this behavior as long as it was confined to the twenty minute break periods. Other Resistance members, especially humans, perceived Dipterz's management style as excessively controlling, but it was considered acceptable within Cyclorrian culture and yielded effective outcomes.
Throughout his service with the Resistance, Dipterz was almost always seen on his loadlifter workframe, an apparatus that some compared to a throne, despite its industrial nature. The frame exhibited an orange color scheme and featured suspension servomotors and exposed gyro-balance systems in its limbs. It also included a lifter carriage equipped with magnetized forks suitable for transporting fuel canisters. Dipterz wore light brown clothing, including a gray jacket and brown boots. He consistently wore a brown scarf wrapped around his head, which he kept damp to minimize distractions from ambient scents.
The character Vazzet Dipterz was conceived for the 2019 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. His initial identification occurred in the companion reference book titled Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, authored by Pablo Hidalgo. Dipterz was portrayed by Tom Wilton, who also played Aftab Ackbar in costume within the film. While the character was primarily a model, Wilton was situated inside the loadlifter and moved around on set, communicating with crew members via a headset. Warwick Davis, the actor who played Wizzich Mozzer, noted that the frame was notably heavy for Wilton and that the enclosed space of the loadlifter generated significant heat, leading to discomfort for the actor.
