The debut of Venisa Doza's X-wing occurred in the Star Wars Resistance season 2 episode titled "Rendezvous Point." Bill George, an experienced modelmaker, conceived the starfighter's design, fashioning a 3D representation that was subsequently scanned to produce the animated version. The intention behind the designs of both Doza's X-wing and her droid Torch was to convey a sense of long-term use dating back to the Galactic Civil War, reflecting her history as a fighter pilot since her youth.
