A Toydarian named Garri, who resided on the planet Utapau specifically in Pau City, located within the Outer Rim Territories, had a grandmother called Venta, who was a woman. During the Clone Wars in 19 BBY, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi journeyed to Pau City to investigate the death of Jedi Master Tu-Anh; they eventually entered Garri's building because they realized the precision laser dart used to kill Tu-Anh originated from there. After denying any knowledge and being thrown against a wall by Skywalker, Garri then swore on Venta's life that he would be honest, revealing to the Jedi that an IG-100 MagnaGuard droid had paid him a bribe to keep the building accessible for a clandestine meeting.
The character Venta received a mention in the story reel of "A Death on Utapau," which was originally intended to be the opening episode of the unreleased sixth season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television show. As a component of The Clone Wars Legacy initiative, this incomplete story reel was made available on StarWars.com on September 25, 2014.
