Wolentic Dudge

On the planet Kijimi, in the locale of Kijimi City, resided a Frejuke named Wolentic Dudge. His species' natural blubber, which retained heat, made him well-suited to the cold climate of that world. To further combat the chill, he also donned a brown vest lined with kybuck fur, accompanied by brown pants, brown shoes, and a black belt that integrated a comlink within its buckle. A devoted inhabitant of the city, Dudge was unfortunately subjected to its occupation by the First Order in 35 ABY. This period of hardship culminated in the destruction of Kijimi at the hands of the Sith Eternal. Dudge had light skin and eyes of a dark color, which were sensitive to bright light.

Behind the scenes

The character Wolentic Dudge was brought to life for the motion picture Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, which premiered on December 20, 2019. Artist Ivan Manzella conceived a concept sculpture of the character, originally labeled "Wizard 60." The name of Dudge was first made public in the reference work Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, authored by Pablo Hidalgo and launched concurrently with the movie's release. Warwick Davis, a seasoned actor in the Star Wars franchise, played the character, continuing his pattern of portraying characters whose names begin with the letter "W". Within the same film, Davis also embodied the character of Wizzich Mozzer.
