The narrator announces that at Galaxy's Edge, Black Spire Outpost is full of danger, mystery, and wonder. The episode opens with a wide landscape shot of Black Spire Outpost's spaceport. Chewbacca exits the Millennium Falcon with a porg on top of a box.
The porg flies away and explores the town, visiting Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, where it avoids being trampled by the patrons. It flies to the enclosed encounter and eyes Dok-Ondar, who waves him away. Meanwhile, the DJ droid R-3X plays music at Oga's Cantina. The porg briefly dances on his keyboard before mingling under the drink dispensers. The porg then flies through the streets of Merchant Row, hiding behind a pillar while two patrolling First Order stormtroopers march past. It sees the Resistance spy Vi Moradi hiding in a corner but she motions for the porg not to expose her position.
The porg visits Ronto Roasters in the Market where the 8D-series smelter droid 8D-J8 is roasting some meat on grills. The porg tries to taste some meat but is picked up by a disapproving Chewbacca. A Kowakian monkey-lizard laughs maniacally in the background.
