Bonadan was a planet in the Outer Rim Territories Corporate Sector that marked the start of the Hydian Way. By 10 BBY, the arms dealers Ephant Mon and Masse Goskey had attended an arms exchange on the planet.
Bonadan was a planet located in the Corporate Sector of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories at coordinates Q-4 of the Standard Galactic Grid. The world was the starting point of the Hydian Way hyperspace route, which linked it to the Salient system.
During the High Republic Era, the future Jedi Master Torbin was born on Bonadan to paupers. By 22 BBY, the planet had an embassy in the Federal District of Coruscant, the capital world of the Galactic Republic. By 10 BBY the arms dealers Ephant Mon and Masse Goskey attended an arms exchange on Bonadan where Mon purchased a new writing stylus and a billy-bag of finely shredded savory sweetmeats. He then mentioned the planet when writing about the exchange in the book that would become known as the Smuggler's Guide.
The following entry in the book contained a post from a user named "BonadanBouncer" on Cynabar's InfoNet that claimed that the crime lord Azmorigan should be avoided as he had not paid for clean-up after the user transported puffer pigs for him. The smuggler Han Solo had flown to Bonadan by 0 BBY.
In the current Star Wars canon, Bonadan was first mentioned on a map in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying boxed set. The world originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the 1979 novel Han Solo's Revenge, which was written by Brian Daley.
