In 382 BBY, an Eirami commander served alongside Ambassador Lian Cerox during the Battle of Jedha. After the Eiram and E'ronoh militaries broke out into war amongst each other, Ambassador Cerox was curious to know about the progress of the battle, to which she asked the commander, whose was warily in the direction it was going. Having regrets about the enforcer droids and Tilson Graf, the commander acknowledged to Cerox that the droids excelled, but the presence of Jedi, specifically Creighton Sun and Aida Forte, were unforeseen. Frustrated, Cerox issued that all enforcer droids execute any Jedi on sight, which expressed hesitation and concern in the commander who highlighted potential repercussions for said actions. Cerox emphasized the importance of eliminating the Jedi for the battle's success.
Cerox, displaying impatience of the evacuation process on Jedha, asked the commander how it was going. The commander responded saying the final shuttles were departing with troops from the surface and all enforcer droids had been recalled. Despite progress, Cerox was scornful with the evacuation progress and attributed the retreat towards being the Jedi's fault. Sensing the frustration in Cerox, the commander tentatively inquired if the conflict was considered resolved. Cerox furiously expressed the situation was far from over, emphasizing the need for retribution and vindication against E'ronoh's forces, even damning the heirs of the two planets, Xiri A'lbaran and Phan-tu Zenn, and their union. Concluding the conversation on a more reasonable note, Cerox instructed the commander to hasten the final preparations for their departure from Jedha. The commander, who acknowledged the directive, assured the ambassador of immediate action.
An Eirami soldier interrupted the conversation stating Eiram's forces had been nearly obliterated and emergency landings were transpiring outside of Jedha City, to the surprise of both Cerox and the commander. As Cerox conveyed anger and vowed revenge against the perceived enemy, the commander was quick to point out that E'roni forces had also taken considerable damage as well, which astonished Cerox. Before the conversation could ensue, an explosion was caused in the bridge of the Eirami military command cruiser by Padawan Sav Malagán and criminal Saya Keem after crashing into the cruiser with a Spiral-class Viz-Core Eviscerator. The resulting explosion prompted immediate action from the commander and soldier.
The Eirami commander exhibited a composed and cautious demeanor, often approaching situations with a sense of wariness and consideration. The commander demonstrated a willingness to follow orders from superiors, such as Ambassador Lian Cerox, while also showing an ability to provide counterpoints or alternative perspectives when necessary.
The Eirami commander first appeared in the 2023 audio drama The High Republic: The Battle of Jedha, written by George Mann, and was later pictured in the comic The High Republic Adventures (2022) 6, written by Daniel José Older and published by Dark Horse Comics on June 28 in the same year.
