The Abrion sector existed within the Outer Rim Territories and Wild Space regions of the galaxy. This sector occupied a strategic position at the intersection of multiple hyperspace routes. Notably, it encompassed the Rishi system, which was the stage for a battle during the Clone Wars. This conflict unfolded on the moon orbiting the planet Rishi. Furthermore, the planet Scarif was situated within this sector, serving as the location for a battle fought between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire. Several agriworlds were also found here, namely Abrion Major, Gibad, Tieos, and Ukio.
Esu Rotsino represented Abrion Major in the Galactic Senate during the Clone Wars. She spearheaded the sector's secession from the Galactic Republic. Rotsino then served as the sector's representative in the Separatist Senate.
