Raid in the Abrion sector

The Nihil group of pirates launched an offensive raid within the Abrion sector during the age of the High Republic Era. The cruiser known as the Tycoon Trader, a vessel transporting cargo, was in the process of delivering glitterstim from the planet Aaloth destined for the Hutt Cartel. A Tempest Runner of the Dowutin, Pan Eyta, was made aware of the stim shipment in the sector by an informer working within the Hutt Cartel, leading him to deploy his Tempest in order to attack the ship.

Using a [gravity mine](/article/gravity_mine], the Nihil forced the Trader to exit hyperspace, then they used gas torpedoes to create breaches in the hull, after which they utilized a boarding tube to gain access to the ship. The masks worn by the Nihil protected the invading forces from the war cloud that they had deployed. Lourna Dee, a mercenary tasked with protecting the Trader, activated automated defense systems on the vessel to oppose the Nihil and also sacrificed the pilot droid RL-18 as part of her planned counterattack.

A group of boarders from Storm Jinnix's crew was sent out, which included the Nikto named Towl and an individual called Blackwing, both of whom were killed by Dee. The droid H7-09 sustained damage during the conflict. Jinnix moved to challenge Dee, but she was able to defeat him by ripping out one of his teeth and using it as a weapon to stab him.

Lourna believed that she had achieved victory, but Pan Eyta arrived and captured her. She then negotiated a deal with him to become a member of the Nihil and assist in the raid on Aaloth. As compensation, Lourna became a member of the Nihil and was given possession of Jinnix's former ship, the Toothspike, which she renamed the Lourna Dee.
