Ahsoka Tano's Delta-7B Jedi Starfighter was a light interceptor of the Delta-7B Aethersprite-class flown by the Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano during the Clone Wars, sometimes with R7-A7 as her astromech droid co-pilot. During the Battle of Ryloth and the Battle of Umbara, she piloted this vessel.
During the Battle of Ryloth in 21 BBY, Anakin Skywalker appointed Ahsoka Tano as Blue Leader, and she piloted the starfighter with R7-A7. Her mission was to guide Blue Squadron in breaching the Separatist blockade, which consisted of a Lucrehulk-class battleship and a pair of Munificent-class star frigates, to enable the Republic invasion fleet under Masters Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi to initiate their ground assault to free the occupied world. Initially, she succeeded in eliminating the droid fighters and putting pressure on their defenses, but four more frigates reinforced the blockade, taking Skywalker and Tano by surprise. Tano defied Skywalker's order for her squadron to fall back to the Resolute and pressed on with the battle, resulting in the loss of more than half of her squadron. Just before Skywalker had his fleet jump to hyperspace, Tano managed to return to the Resolute. Later, they would successfully break through the blockade, allowing Republic forces to pass through.
In a subsequent mission, Tano joined Skywalker in her Delta-7B to destroy Hyena-class droid fighter/bombers that were targeting populated villages. Before they could bomb the capital city of Lessu, Skywalker and Tano eliminated the last of them.
During the Battle of Umbara in 20 BBY, Tano piloted her Delta-7B. Together with Barriss Offee, who was flying her own Delta-7B, Tano led a fighter squadron composed of Z-95 Headhunters and BTL-B Y-wing fighter/bombers. Their joint efforts enabled the Republic to penetrate the Separatist blockade that was defending the planet.
Tano and Skywalker flew their Delta-7Bs to Plop Dribble's at the spaceport on Stobar, planning to link up with their cruiser. However, Skywalker's hunger and weariness of government rations intervened. They ended up witnessing the events that followed Savage Opress's assault on a waitress at the diner.
By the time the Battle of Cato Neimoidia occurred, Tano had stopped using her Delta-7B, opting instead for an Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor.
Ahsoka Tano served as both the pilot and captain of the starfighter. R7-A7, Tano's astromech droid, was responsible for navigation and repairs if the ship sustained combat damage.
