Ahsoka Tano's Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor

Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi Padawan, piloted a specialized Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor known as Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor. This vessel shared a similar red color scheme with her previous Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor. Her loyal droid companion, R7-A7, continued in its role as her copilot aboard this starfighter.

History

Defense of Cato Neimoidia

During the Clone Wars' concluding year (last), Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano flew this fighter during the Battle of Cato Neimoidia. When she and her Master Anakin Skywalker clashed with Separatist warships orbiting Cato Neimoidia, Tano was piloting the Eta-2. Subsequently, alongside her master, she spearheaded a squadron of Z-95 Headhunters towards the planet's surface, closely followed by LAATs providing ground support.

As they descended, Tano and Skywalker found themselves engaged in aerial combat with three droid tri-fighters. The droid fighters launched missiles at the Jedi, with Tano managing to evade the incoming fire. These projectiles released buzz droids that latched onto Skywalker's ship, swarming it and causing significant damage.

Witnessing Skywalker's fighter spiraling downwards, Tano made the decision to assist him in escaping his cockpit. She instructed Skywalker's astromech R2-D2 to guide the damaged craft to a nearby open area, while Tano relinquished control of her ship to R7-A7 and successfully helped Skywalker abandon his fighter.

Commanders and crew

Ahsoka Tano was the designated pilot of the starfighter, also fulfilling the role of captain. R7-A7, Tano's astromech droid, was responsible for repairing the ship if it sustained battle damage.

Behind the scenes

The sole on-screen appearance of Ahsoka Tano's Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor occurred in "Sabotage," which is the seventeenth episode from the fifth season of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
