Astri Oddo
Astri Oddo was a culinary artist, the adopted child of Didi Oddo, and the individual who owned Dex's Diner before Dex himself.
Biography
Astri worked as the chef at Didi's Cafe, which was owned by her adoptive father, Didi Oddo. He had discovered her as a baby abandoned on the cafe's doorstep. Through her father, she encountered Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Later, after Obi-Wan's Master was taken prisoner and her father was shot by the bounty hunter Ona Nobis, she accompanied Obi-Wan on a mission to locate Jenna Zan Arbor, the one holding Qui-Gon Jinn captive, and to find a cure for Didi's ailment. Following this, she "married a homesteader in the Outer Rim." Subsequently, she married Senator Bog Divinian, and they had a son named Lune Oddo Divinian. However, with assistance from the Jedi, she left Bog for an extended period, establishing Nuralee as her adopted home planet.
Fleeing from Bog
In 18 BBY, she deliberately disrupted the computer networks of the planet Samaria with the authorization of prime minister Aaren Larker. This action led Emperor Palpatine to dispatch Ferus Olin to capture her. Instead, the former Jedi aided her and her son in escaping the grasp of the Galactic Empire, helping them relocate to a concealed asteroid base situated within an atmospheric storm near the planet Acherin. Subsequently, she and her son Lune took up residence in the Orange Sector of Coruscant, within the safe house provided by Dex.
Lune's Abduction
She developed a close relationship with the Erased, trusting them enough to entrust Keets Freely and Curran Caladian with the care of Lune. Regrettably, Imperial Stormtroopers abducted Lune with the intention of training him as an Imperial Pilot. However, Dexter dispatched Trever Flume and Ferus Olin to rescue him. She expressed immense gratitude upon Lune's safe return.
Tracking Flame
When a mysterious young woman named Flam appeared with the intention of forming a Rebellion team known as Moonstrike, a friend of Ferus, Clive Flax, grew suspicious, suspecting her of being an Imperial spy. He enlisted Astri's help in investigating. They later discovered that Flame was actually Eve Yarrow, and that she was allied with the Sith Lord Darth Vader. Clive and she then alerted the base, warning them of this treachery.
After Vader's superweapon destroyed the base, Astri and Clive made the decision to adopt Trever after his memories were erased to protect him, causing him to forget everything he knew about Darth Vader's true identity and the events of the past year.
Astri, along with Clive and Trever, tragically perished during their attempt to destroy an Imperial factory on Bellazura. Their son, Lune Divinian, was unable to participate in the battle and, consequently, survived.
