Attiburra, a Chief of the Wookiee species, contracted the services of the Freemakers for the purpose of extracting his offspring, Tantarra, from a Trandoshan stronghold located on an island. As compensation, he presented the Freemakers with a segment of wroshyr wood.
During the period of the Galactic Civil War, Attiburra, a Wookiee chief, resided on the planet Kashyyyk. Tantarra, his son, was abducted by Trandoshan agents working for the Galactic Empire and subsequently confined within a fortified island location. Attiburra, prioritizing his son's safety, refrained from launching an assault against the Trandoshans. Simultaneously, the Empire enforced a strict blockade surrounding Kashyyyk.
Following their Escape from Cloud City, the Freemakers, known for their scavenging activities, journeyed to Kashyyyk to acquire a portion of wroshyr wood intended for the Twi'lek captain Ignacio Wortan. Upon their arrival, the Freemakers encountered Attiburra alongside a contingent of Wookiees. When Roger, the Freemakers' modified B1-series battle droid, attempted to facilitate communication in Shyriiwook, Attiburra perceived him as a threat and forcibly removed his head. However, Rowan, the youngest member of the Freemakers, successfully reassured Attiburra of his family's peaceful intentions.
Speaking in Shyriiwook, Rowan informed Attiburra of his family's objective to obtain a piece of wroshyr wood. Attiburra provided them with the requested wood but tasked them with a mission to rescue his son, Tantarra. Despite Kordi and Zander's reluctance, Rowan and Roger emphasized that reneging on an agreement was considered a grave offense in Wookiee culture. The Freemakers, albeit unwillingly, agreed to infiltrate the Trandoshan island fortress, ultimately succeeding in rescuing Tantarra. Following his liberation, Zander discharged a flare gun, signaling Attiburra and his forces to initiate an attack on the Trandoshans.
Attiburra and his warriors launched an assault on the Trandoshan fortress utilizing an Auzituck anti-slaver gunship. Amidst the conflict, Tantarra aided the Freemakers in retrieving the third Kyber Saber crystal from a Trandoshan statue. After being reunited with his son, Attiburra expressed his gratitude to the Freemakers for instilling hope in the Wookiees and permitted them to return to their vessel, the StarScavenger.
Prior to the Battle of Endor, Attiburra, alongside his son Tantarra and several Wookiees, joined rebel troopers under the command of Lieutenant Valeria in their struggle against Imperial forces. During the battle, Attiburra caused a tree trunk to fall onto a scout trooper. Lacking aerial support, the Wookiees and rebels retreated to a nearby beach where an Auzituck anti-slaver gunship awaited them. The group found themselves cornered by an AT-ST walker.
Shortly thereafter, the Freemakers arrived aboard their formidable new starship, the Arrowhead, which promptly destroyed the AT-ST walker. Subsequently, the Arrowhead proceeded to obliterate several AT-AT walkers. Consequently, the Wookiees and rebels achieved a victory against the Empire.
Attiburra was a powerful and intimidating Wookiee chief with a deep affection for his son, Tantarra. Being a Wookiee, he communicated in Shyriiwook. Cherishing his son's well-being, Attiburra halted his assaults on the Trandoshans to ensure his safety. Attiburra presented the Freemakers with a handcrafted piece of wroshyr wood as an incentive to rescue his son. Following the Freemakers' successful rescue mission, Attiburra personally spearheaded an attack on the Trandoshan island fortress. He demonstrated the ability to overpower numerous Trandoshans in combat.
Attiburra's initial appearance occurred in the non-Canon LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures episode "Peril on Kashyyyk," which debuted on Disney XD on June 27, 2016.
