As a Keshiri Sith Saber hailing from the planet Kesh, Baad Walusari was a member of the Lost Tribe of Sith. In the year 43.5 ABY, Grand Lord Darish Vol and Lady Olaris Rhea selected him for a Sith strike team with the goal of retrieving Ship, a Sith Meditation Sphere, and hunting down Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker. This strike team eventually located Ship on a planet within the Maw, where the Meditation Sphere was successfully recovered. Subsequently, Ship transported Walusari and the team to Sinkhole Station, also located in the Maw. It was there that they ambushed Skywalker and his son, Jedi Knight Ben Skywalker. During the ensuing conflict, Sith Master Yuvar Xal attempted a coup to seize command of the strike team from Rhea, but Walusari and Rhea's apprentice, Vestara Khai, thwarted his treachery. Khai then murdered Xal, but Walusari met his end at the hands of the Skywalkers.

From the remote Wild Space planet of Kesh, Baad Walusari was a Force-sensitive Keshiri. He underwent training in the dark side of the Force with the Lost Tribe of Sith—the descendants of Sith who had been marooned on the planet during the era of the Sith Empire—ultimately achieving the rank of Sith Saber. In 41 ABY, Ship, a Sith Meditation Sphere, arrived on Kesh and began aiding the Tribe in forming an armada. Two years later, in 43.5 ABY, the Tribe sensed the presence of Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker in the Force after he interacted with the Codex, an Aing-Tii relic. Shortly thereafter, Ship suddenly departed Kesh, responding to a call through the Force. Subsequently, Grand Lord Darish Vol and Lady Olaris Rhea selected Walusari to join the strike team tasked with recovering Ship and eliminating Skywalker.
Rhea led the strike team aboard the warship Eternal Crusader. They tracked Ship to a planet in the Maw, and Rhea led a search party to the surface, leaving the Eternal Crusader in orbit. Rather than placing her executive officer, Sith Master Yuvar Xal, in command, Rhea entrusted Walusari with the vessel, as she had greater faith in the Sith Saber than in Xal. While the Sith fruitlessly sought Ship, Walusari used the Eternal Crusader's sensors to try to locate the Meditation Sphere. After suffering multiple fatalities due to the planet's dangerous plant life, the search party encountered Abeloth, a being capable of controlling the planet's flora and fauna. She agreed to assist the Sith, even though it was her call that had drawn Ship there, and her will that was preventing Ship from returning to the Sith.

Rhea ultimately decided that they should abandon the search and proceed with eliminating Skywalker, but Walusari suddenly obtained a sensor lock on Ship. The search party resumed its pursuit of the Meditation Sphere, but the chase remained unsuccessful. Shuttles from the Eternal Crusader transported more and more of the crew to the surface, including Walusari, until the warship was empty. However, Abeloth had recently learned that Skywalker and his son, Jedi Knight Ben Skywalker, were at Sinkhole Station, a space station in the Maw. She finally allowed Ship to return to the Tribe, and the Meditation Sphere transported the surviving Sith to Sinkhole Station.

Rhea instructed Walusari, along with Rhea's apprentice, Vestara Khai, to monitor Xal and his apprentice, Ahri Raas, as she anticipated a betrayal during the battle. Walusari, Khai, Xal, and Raas concealed themselves behind the hatches at a junction chamber that the Skywalkers would need to traverse to reach their ship, the Jade Shadow, in the station's hangar. After the Jedi escaped the initial confrontation, Rhea commed the four Sith, informing them that the Skywalkers were approaching. Upon seeing their targets approach, armed with lightsabers and blasters, Khai and Walusari opened their hatches and each launched a pair of grenades at the Jedi. Xal seized this moment to launch his coup, using telekinesis to redirect the explosives back into Khai's and Walusari's hatches before throwing his own stun grenades at the Skywalkers.
However, Rhea had foreseen this move and provided Walusari and Khai with fake grenades for their initial throw. Meanwhile, Ben Skywalker, unaffected by the stun grenades, feigned incapacitation. Raas moved forward to apprehend him but was distracted by Xal's cry of pain and surprise as Khai killed the Sith Master with her shikkar, and the Jedi swiftly eliminated Raas. Walusari acted next, throwing two fragmentation grenades at the Jedi, but the younger Skywalker pushed the grenades back into his hatch, severing his arm in the process. Unable to escape in time, Walusari was killed by the grenades.
Baad Walusari possessed both a strong will and bravery, qualities that led to his selection as a member of the strike team. He was also loyal to Rhea, who reciprocated by entrusting him with command of the Eternal Crusader and tasking him with monitoring Xal during the battle with the Skywalkers.
Walusari learned the ways of the dark side of the Force on Kesh with the Lost Tribe of Sith. By 43 ABY, he had completed his training and had ascended to the rank of Sith Saber. He was a skilled combatant, which led to his selection as a member of the strike team sent to eliminate Luke Skywalker.
Walusari briefly commanded the Eternal Crusader, utilizing its systems to aid the Sith's search for Ship. Later, he used stun grenades provided by Rhea to attack Luke and Ben Skywalker. He then threw two fragmentation grenades at the Jedi, which were ultimately used against him, resulting in his death.
Baad Walusari appeared in Troy Denning's 2009 novel, Fate of the Jedi: Abyss, the third novel in the Fate of the Jedi series.
