Bahryn

Bahryn was a moon, one of the fifteen satellites circling the Outer Rim Territories planet of Geonosis. Unlike the arid environment of Geonosis, Bahryn was an extremely cold world; its temperatures were so low that only creatures adapted to the extreme cold, such as the native bonzami, could survive there. The Lasat Garazeb Orrelios from the Spectres, along with Imperial Agent Alexsandr Kallus of the Galactic Empire, were stranded on Bahryn in 3 BBY following an ambush on an ICM-092792. Despite being trapped, both were eventually rescued.

History

Zeb and Kallus on Bahryn

Garazeb Orrelios, a rebel, and Alexsandr Kallus, an ISB Agent, were forced to crash-land on the moon in an escape pod three years prior to the Battle of Yavin. This occurred after an Imperial ambush on a construction module in Geonosis's orbit failed. While battling, Kallus pursued Zeb into one of the station's escape pods. As their fight continued inside, Garazeb kicked Kallus into the pod's controls, damaging them and resulting in a crash landing inside a cave. Realizing survival depended on cooperation, Garazeb obtained a power generator to provide warmth and fixed an escape pod transponder; however, its signal was too weak to penetrate the thick ice.

After the generator stopped working, Zeb replaced it with a hot meteorite he found. Soon after, a lone bonzami attacked, but they repelled it using their combined bo-rifle fire. To escape, Garazeb, carrying Kallus, climbed the ice pillars supporting the cave. Two bonzami appeared during their ascent, but they narrowly escaped through the hole created by their pod. Once on the surface, Garazeb activated the transponder, alerting the other Spectres on the Ghost to their location. Kallus, however, chose to remain behind and await the Empire, bidding farewell to Garazeb before he departed on the Ghost.
