Bordanivaux functioned as a governor of the Galactic Empire throughout the era of the Galactic Civil War; she was a female. As the leader overseeing the planet of Chadawa, she made the decision to separate her government from the Empire around 5 ABY. In approximately that year, Colonel Madrighast and his forces escaped to Chadawa after suffering significant defeats. Bordanivaux granted sanctuary to the colonel's military unit on her planet. Some months afterward, the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, which was aligned with the Empire's loyalist faction, aimed to obliterate all civilization on Chadawa as retribution for the planet's defection. During the subsequent fighting, the intervention of New Republic forces led to the 204th's retreat, and Madrighast and his Star Destroyer were destroyed. Despite this, the Chadawan government persisted, albeit facing the imminent threat of invasion by the New Republic.
The 2021 novel Victory's Price, penned by Alexander Freed, included a reference to Bordanivaux.
