C1-D1, also known as See-One, functioned as a protocol droid at the command center of the Santhe Shipyards located in Coronet City, on the planet Corellia. Her duties involved cataloging inventory from incoming transports during the New Republic's dismantling of the Imperial fleet.
See-One's work was interrupted by an HK-class assassin droid, hindering her ability to finish her inventory tasks. Due to the assassin droid's elevated security credentials, she was initially unable to submit a report regarding this encounter. It was only after a period of five rotations that she could finally report the incident, triggered by Ahsoka Tano's questions about the presence of HK droids at the facility. This inquiry ultimately revealed Morgan Elsbeth's clandestine operation to repurpose reconditioned SSD hyperdrive cores for the Eye of Sion.
The initial appearance of C1-D1 occurred in the second episode of the Ahsoka series on Disney+, which premiered on August 22, 2023. Shelby Young provided the voice for C1-D1, while Chris Bartlett and Justin Sonfield handled the physical performance.
