Cameron was a clone trooper fighting for the Grand Army of the Republic in the Clone Wars, specifically within the ranks of the 501st Legion. During the Battle of Quell, Cameron, alongside fellow soldiers like Lucky from the 501st, accompanied their commanding officers Clone Captain Rex, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano on a mission. Their objective was to rescue Jedi General Aayla Secura who was trapped on the Liberty. After infiltrating the Liberty and suffering a casualty, Cameron's group was reinforced by Flash, a trooper from the 327th Star Corps, before they eventually located Secura and Clone Commander Bly.
Later, Cameron met his death on Maridun after a crash landing, falling victim to a mastiff phalone along with Lucky and Flash. The deadly creature used its claws to choke Cameron, resulting in his demise.
Cameron's appearance was in "Jedi Crash", and his identification occurred post-mortem, leading to speculation about his identity before his death. The episode depicts three clone troopers from the 501st Legion boarding the Liberty alongside Rex and Ahsoka Tano, but one of them is killed by enemy fire. However, when Tano's group reunites with Anakin Skywalker, a different third clone trooper has joined their ranks. The origin of this new trooper remains unexplained, leaving it ambiguous whether he was part of Secura's 327th stationed on the Liberty or arrived from another 501st gunship. The episode only identifies the three clones as Cameron, Lucky, and Flash, without clarifying their individual roles.
However, in 2019, Flash reappeared in the Choose Your Destiny: A Clone Trooper Mission audiobook, where his affiliation with the 327th was confirmed. Then, in 2022, "The Grand Army of the Republic" encyclopedia was released, mistakenly listing Cameron, Lucky, and Flash as members of Secura's unit. Given that at least two of them must be from the 501st due to boarding with Tano and Rex, and Flash's independent confirmation as part of the 327th, this article operates under the following assumption: the encyclopedia is correct in identifying Flash as a survivor from Secura's crew, making him the third clone trooper who joined Tano's team along the way. Therefore, Cameron and Lucky must be the two troopers from Tano and Rex's group who survived the boarding, placing them in the 501st rather than Secura's 327th.
