Flash

Flash, a clone trooper, fought for the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Under the command of Jedi General Aayla Secura and Clone Marshal Commander Bly, he was a member of a company in the 327th Star Corps. Flash participated in a mission to Escander that opposed the Confederacy of Independent Systems. While stationed on the Liberty, he survived the Battle of Quell and escaped on a Consular-class cruiser with his commanding officers: 501st Legion's Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, Clone Captain Rex, and troopers Cameron and Lucky. Flash, along with Cameron and Lucky, died when the cruiser crashed on Maridun, and they were attacked by mastiff phalones.

Behind the scenes

"Jedi Crash" marked Flash's debut. In this episode, Tano and Rex board Secura's Venator alongside three other clones from the 501st Legion, but one is killed by droids. A new clone has joined their group by the time they meet up with Skywalker, which implies that the team found a survivor from Secura's cruiser or a clone from one of the other 501st gunships. Later, the episode identifies Cameron, Flash, and Lucky as the three troopers who survived the Battle of Quell, but it does not say who the two troopers are that boarded with Tano and Rex initially, nor does it explain where the third trooper came from.

However, Choose Your Destiny: A Clone Trooper Mission later revealed that Flash was a member of Secura's 327th. Finally, "The Grand Army of the Republic" later confirmed that Flash was a member of Aayla Secura's task force who was rescued by the intervention. Therefore, the third clone's origins must be that the soldier is Flash, who was part of Secura's crew and was found by Tano's team. While the encyclopedia does list Cameron and Lucky as two other members of Secura's crew, this article assumes that is a mistake to account for the two 501st troopers who boarded with Rex and Tano. Because Choose Your Destiny independently established that Flash was a member of the 327th, this article assumes that "The Grand Army of the Republic" is correct in identifying him as a survivor of Secura's task force.
