Central Manse

The Central Manse, also called the Grand Commons, functioned as a key operational hub on the Outer Rim planet of Koboh for both the Jedi Order and Republic scientists. It was situated in the heart of the primary settlement. This royal blue edifice was constructed with spires designed to mirror the distinctive towers found at the Jedi Grand Temple on Coruscant, and it also featured a central Grand Courtyard. Jedi Knight Dagan Gera resided here. The building's decorated rooms and halls were filled with luxurious furniture, including bookshelves. The Theses of Yaddle, which contained information regarding obscure Jedi practices, was located on one of these bookshelves.

Following an Emergence that impacted Koboh's moon during the Great Hyperspace Disaster in 232 BBY, the manse sustained damage from large lunar fragments that bombarded Koboh's surface. Some passageways became inaccessible, and significant breaches appeared in the walls as a result.

Centuries later, in 9 BBY, the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis discovered a damaged Abyss compass on a desk inside the Central Manse. Through psychometry, he witnessed how two Jedi decided to destroy the Abyss compass to prevent Dagan Gera from obtaining it when he succumbed to the dark side of the Force. In his rage, Gera swiftly killed both Jedi. As Kestis journeyed in search of Tanalorr, he carried the Abyss compass with him.
