Codicil Nine

MadelinSunStormtrooperCommander-CrimsonReign3 As a result of possessing an artifact, Madelin Sun (right) was almost taken into custody after stormtroopers found it, which was against Codicil Nine. A specific part of Order 66, known as Codicil Nine, explicitly prohibited regular citizens from possessing any Force artifacts. Order 66 itself was an order to kill all members of the Jedi Order, branding them as traitors to the Galactic Republic. Approximately between 8 BBY and 2 BBY, Madelin Sun, a former student of the University of Bar'leth on Sava, faced near arrest by three Imperial stormtroopers for breaking this rule. The reason was that they discovered one of these artifacts inside her home located on the planet Antillion. The stormtrooper commander on the scene told Sun that they intended to report this discovery to the Imperial governor of the sector. However, before they could act on this, Lady Qi'ra, who is the leader of the criminal organization Crimson Dawn, killed the commander and the two other troopers.
