A human male from the planet Haidoral Prime, was known as Corbo. He enlisted in the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry in 3 ABY, a period when the Imperial governor of the planet, Everi Chalis, also switched sides. Corbo, fueled by the death of his felinx caused by Chalis, attempted to confront her in her holding cell with a galley knife. However, a technician intervened, and he was later confronted by First Sergeant Hazram Namir. After Corbo explained his actions, the first sergeant decided to place a guard outside Chalis's cell.
Corbo is credited with a dozen confirmed kills during the Coyerti campaign. While Twilight Company sought shelter on Ankhural, Corbo, along with some others, contemplated desertion, an issue that Namir was made aware of. He served with the company on the warehouse world Mardona III, surviving alone from his squad following an attack by an Imperial vehicle. He also participated in the Siege of Inyusu Tor, where he inquired with Namir about the benefits of fighting the Imperial forces for the Sullustans residing in the nearby city.
Haidoral Prime, a world situated in the Mid Rim, was where Corbo resided, and where he kept his pet felinx. Everi Chalis, during her time as the Imperial governor of the planet, declared the felinx population to be going feral, which ultimately led to the death of Corbo's pet.
In 3 ABY, the 61st Mobile Infantry of the Rebel Alliance's, more famously known as Twilight Company, attacked Haidoral Prime, specifically targeting the planet's capital, Haidoral Administrative Center One. On their final day on the planet, the company organized a recruitment drive to increase their numbers, leading Corbo and twenty-seven others to enlist. Chalis herself also defected to the Rebel cause, fearing repercussions from the Empire due to Twilight Company's assault on Haidoral Prime. As they departed on their CR90 corvette, the Thunderstrike, Chalis was confined within a makeshift brig. Following their departure, First Sergeant Hazram Namir began training Corbo and the other eighteen recruits capable of combat on the usage of a DLT-20A blaster rifle. He also provided them with a summary of Alliance training that he felt was unnecessary for them to know.
The presence of Chalis on the Thunderstrike became a source of discontent among many of the soldiers on board, and Corbo, remembering what the governor had done to his felinx, approached the brig armed with a galley knife. However, a technician successfully dissuaded him, and Namir later confronted him privately about the incident. Corbo explained the death of his felinx to the first sergeant, stating that he could not forgive her actions. The recruit then suggested leaving the company, and Namir questioned whether he would approach the brig with a knife again. After Corbo admitted he was unsure, the first sergeant decided to station a guard outside the brig.
Shortly after, Corbo fought in a campaign with Twilight Company on the jungle planet Coyerti, where the natives were vulnerable to the Empire's local forces during their breeding season. Corbo achieved six confirmed kills, which were documented in a post-combat report reviewed by Namir following the campaign.
Not long after the Battle of Hoth, Twilight Company sought refuge on the planet Ankhural, where the company's two capital ships underwent repairs. Fearing annihilation by the Empire, Corbo and a few other soldiers considered abandoning the company. Roach, another recruit from Haidoral Prime, overheard this and informed Namir. The first sergeant brought the matter to a meeting with the senior members of Twilight Company, suggesting that the potential deserters be divided into different crews. Namir also decided to call in a favor that Corbo owed him to help resolve the situation.
Soon after, Twilight Company launched Operation Ringbreaker, a campaign targeting Imperial installations along the Rimma Trade Route to divert forces from the Kuat Drive Yards in anticipation of an attack on the shipyards. The initial target was the warehouse world Mardona III, where Corbo participated in minelaying missions as part of a squad led by Sergeant Pol Andrissus, known as Charmer. On the fourth day on Mardona III, however, Charmer's squad was ambushed by an Imperial repulsor vehicle equipped with stun weapons and flamethrowers. Charmer ordered his three comrades to flee before being incinerated by the vehicle. Corbo's two remaining squadmates were also killed, and he was injured during his escape.
Upon returning to Twilight Company's fallback position, Corbo received treatment in the company's makeshift hospital, with his arms being wrapped in bandages. Namir questioned him about the attack, and Corbo recounted the assault on his squad in a distressed manner. The first sergeant, assumed by other members to be the new captain of the company, inquired whether the others had indeed been killed and not just captured, which Corbo confirmed. Namir instructed the soldier to rest, promising to avenge his squad. That night, the first sergeant and other friends of Charmer attacked the Imperial vehicle, eliminating the crew and destroying the vehicle.
Twilight Company attacked several more Imperial outposts before heading to the manufacturing planet Sullust. After liberating the Inyusu Tor mineral processing facility, the company attempted to depart aboard its CR90 corvette, the Thunderstrike. However, the corvette was ambushed and shot down by a squadron of TIE fighters, leaving the troops stranded. Twilight Company then fortified the Inyusu Tor facility, which came under attack from the local Imperial forces, supported by the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Herald.
As the company defended against the slowly advancing enemy ground forces, Corbo asked Namir if they were truly fighting for the Sullustans. Namir assured him that the siege by the Imperial garrison was relieving pressure on Sullust's capital, Pinyumb, which had been locked down following Twilight Company's arrival. Corbo expressed his satisfaction, stating that it was what he had signed up for. Following an internal power surge caused by ion bombs, the Herald was forced to retreat, allowing Twilight Company to defeat the rapidly dwindling Imperial ground forces.
Corbo harbored a deep resentment towards Everi Chalis after she caused the death of his felinx. Given the opportunity, he approached her with a knife, but he did not resist when a technician intervened. During Hazram Namir's subsequent conversation with Corbo, the latter clenched and unclenched his fists and offered to leave Twilight Company if that was what the first sergeant wanted. When asked if he would try to visit Chalis again, Corbo admitted he was unsure and agreed that it was fair to post a guard at the governor's makeshift brig.
During his time on Ankhural, Corbo feared that the Empire would destroy the company and, along with others, considered deserting, although he ultimately stayed. After his squad was killed by an Imperial vehicle on Mardona III, he recounted the event with horror. During the fighting on Sullust, Corbo made sure to confirm with Namir that Twilight Company was benefiting the Sullustans, stating that he had enlisted for that cause.
Corbo was a male human. He had a short, muscular build and a prominent red birthmark covering half of his face.
Corbo carried a galley knife when he attempted to confront Chalis. He and his team planted ion mines during their time on Mardona III.
Corbo made an appearance in the 2015 novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, penned by Alexander Freed.
