Devaronian cherry
Devaronian cherries, a delicacy named after the Devaronian species, were a rare and costly dessert. These cherries were coated in chocolate, offering a unique flavor profile that blended tart sweetness with a chocolatey tang. During the Galactic Civil War, the human rebel pilot Norra Wexley managed to save up enough credits to purchase a hundred of these cherries, and she carefully enjoyed them over a period of five months.
On the day preceding the Alliance's planned attack on the Galactic Empire's second Death Star battle station in 4 ABY, Wexley participated in a sabacc game with fellow pilots such as Lando Calrissian, Wedge Antilles, Wes Janson, Zyrka Tuhn, and a Kel Dor. She ate two cherries during the game, realizing she had only ten remaining. Despite playful prodding to bet the cherries, particularly from Janson who desired to win them, Wexley resisted until the game's final stages, where she eventually wagered her remaining stash.
